April is the first full month of Spring — a time for new beginnings. That’s why we’re excited to spotlight one of the newer additions to our Gastonia Nissan Team, Terry Breedlove. Terry comes to us from one of our sister dealerships in Charleston and joins us as a Sales Manager. In the few short months that he has been here, he has become an integral part of our team, bringing structure, organization, knowledge and a sense of peace that rounds out our exceptional team of managers.
Terry has been in the automotive industry for 17 years, starting as a sales consultant and progressing through the ranks to a management role. The whole of his career has been in this industry, excluding his brief stint as a pizza chef!
Born in Rochester NY, he relocated at age 16 to Charleston, SC where he lived until he joined our team and moved to Charlotte. He is “daddy” to 3 handsome boys, ages 14, 12, and 2, and they put his pizza chef skills to great use. In his free time, Terry enjoys Disc Golf and exploring his new city and surroundings. When asked about the favorite part of his job, he said, “The customers. Every day is a new day.”
Thanks Terry for all you do in making every day a great day at Gastonia Nissan.

Spring is in the air, and there’s nothing like a delicious salad to kick off the warmer weather
.
This Arugula Salmon Salad with Capers and Shaved Parmesan comes from one of our favorite bloggers, Gina Homolka of Skinnytaste. Gina has a knack for creating dishes that fit our motto of Simple, Healthy & Delicious. Arugula is a peppery green that pairs well with capers and Parmesan. A delicious piece of salmon on top helps add a savory note to this delicious recipe. As always, though, feel free to make some of your own additions. Cherry tomatoes would be perfect, as well as fresh lemon juice, which pairs well with arugula. Be sure to make extra salmon so you can have leftovers for another meal the next day.
